A leading rural Bank operating in the Central Region has vacancies for the position of a Internal Auditor.

Job Description

• To provide guidance to the bank’s board of Directors and Senior Management on the adequacy and effectiveness of the bank’s internal control system to reduce the risk of loss and reputational damage to the bank

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A professional qualification in ACIB, ICAG, ACCA, etc and experience in a rural banking environment is highly preferred
• A post graduate degree in Accounting or Finance would be an advantage
• A minimum of 7 years post qualification work experience in the banking industry, with at least 3 years in a key management position, preferably in internal audit.
