Purchasing Manager

The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions: Job Title: Purchasing Manager Key Responsibilities • Assists to establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices • Monitors ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures • Directs procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints • Identifies and source new supplier selection process based on price quality, support, capacity and reliability • Develops and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors. • Establishes and updates an approved vendor/suppliers in support of organisational requirements • Evaluates contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organisational policies • Monitors supplier and vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance • Oversee supplier compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations • Manages risks relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases • Reviews purchase orders for proper authorisation and compliance with organisational policy and procedures • Assists to develop and manage purchasing budgets and forecasts • Produces regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance Qualification Required & Experience • Professional qualification in Purchasing and Supply, degree in Supply Management, or its equivalent • Experience in purchasing and procurement • Managerial experience • Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations relating to procurement and contracts • Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems • Basic knowledge in finance • Practical knowledge in Materials control Location: Accra, Central and Western Region How To Apply For The Job Interested applicants should kindly submit their Cv and signed applications to: [email protected] Hard copy should be dropped at Golden Beach Hotels (Gh) Limited Head Office.
